Item description
This superb lustre, designed by Gio Ponti for Fontana Arte in 1938, is a variation of the "Padelle" lustre debuted in the 1930s. It consists of a large flat glass disc integrated with a rounded opaline glass element, illustrating Ponti's attention to the harmony between surfaces, space, and light. The upper part of the glass pendant is adorned with delicate brass and painted aluminum details.
