This original Lombard trumeau, dating from the 19th century and made of fine walnut and walnut burl, is a masterpiece of northern Italian craftsmanship. The wavy body has an elegant trapezoidal line, topped by a broken gable cyma, which gives a refined sense of balance. The top has two briar doors that enclose four shelves divided into compartments, as well as a ribbed door with three aligned drawers, ideal for carefully organizing small items. The lower part, characterized by a leaf spring facade and bordered by corner pilasters, offers three drawers flanked by a flap with a central door and a side compartment with a drawer pull underneath, perfect for storing documents or tools. Shelf feet give stability and lightness in the overall design. With imposing dimensions (140 cm width, 60 cm depth, 265 cm height), 155 cm upper body height, 110 cm lower body height, this piece of furniture combines functionality and classic style, becoming a distinctive element for fine rooms.
