Model sofa “Pollock”, designed and made by Anacleto Spezzapan, characterized by a strong sculptural identity and a highly distinctive textile treatment. The structure has a soft, enveloping, almost organic line, completely covered in a red material fabric, rich in reliefs and irregularities. The surface appears deliberately “vibrant”, with applied textile elements that create a dynamic three-dimensional effect, evoking the free and instinctive gesture of informal painting. The compact and continuous volume eliminates the traditional distinction between structure and covering, transforming the sofa into a unitary, almost sculptural object. The intense color choice amplifies the stage presence, making it a central element in the space. More than a sofa, an expressive object: “Pollock” interprets the design as an artistic gesture, transforming the covering into a narrative surface. A distinctive piece, capable of defining space.
The sofa measures 180 x 70 x 90 cm and is in an excellent state of conservation.
