Elegant pair of candle lamps with spring candle lifters produced by DHR Den Haan Rotterdam, a historic Dutch family company active since the first decades of the 20th century in the production of nautical and interior lighting.
The lamps feature solid brass and bronze structures with a beautiful natural patina, combined with engraved glass spheres decorated with refined ornamental motifs.
They are designed for candle use and feature an internal spring system that supports the candle and progressively lifts it as it burns, a traditional mechanism used in nautical and indoor candle lamps.
The elegant design, inspired by nautical aesthetics, makes them perfect as decorative elements for classic interiors, maritime environments, libraries, living rooms or fireplaces.
The bases present slight differences in profile and patina, due to the production methods of the time and the natural aging of the metal, typical characteristics of objects from the first half of the 20th century.
