Rare table lamp designed by Carlo Nason for Mazzega in the 1970s, belonging to the "Car Optics" series. The design takes inspiration from car headlights, reinterpreted in a decorative key through the quality of Murano glass and the experimental language of Italian lighting of the period.
The lamp features a large front circular diffuser, similar to an optical lens, with a molded and grooved surface to amplify reflections and depth. The milky white glass body becomes translucent when the lamp is turned on, creating a soft, diffused and suggestive light. The metal base, inclined and sculptural, gives the object a futuristic and architectural character. Perfect for desk, console, coffee table or collectible interiors dedicated to 70s Italian design.
Measurements: 24cm wide x 30cm deep x 34cm high.
