This charming table lamp dates back to the late 1970s and is believed to have originated in southern Italy. Composed entirely of ceramic, the vase-shaped base was dipped in an iridescent paint mixture before being glazed and hardened in the kiln – the effect, a stunning oil-like finish, as eye-catching as it is unique. The effect is not too dissimilar to the works of Johann Loetz Witwe, the Austrian glass makers. The piece is finished with 24k gold rings, giving the light a regal touch.
Please note that the lampshade is for display purposes only. However, if you need help finding a lampshade, we will be happy to point you in the right direction. The lamp is currently wired for EU sockets, but we can change this if necessary depending on the buyer's location.
