Dimensions : H78 x W71 x D78 Color : green Material : wood Style : classic Howard & Sons tufted armchair, a rare 19th-century model with generous proportions, fully stamped and fitted with its original castors. The tufted and shaped backrest offers good height under the ceiling and extends into padded, rolled armrests. The generous seat, with springs, features a wide, curved front edge. The armchair rests on tapered walnut turned legs and square, curved back legs, stamped "Howard & Sons Ltd Berners St" and bearing serial numbers. It retains its original brass castors stamped "Howard & Sons London." The damask upholstery is clean and usable but can be reupholstered to the client's specifications. This unusual armchair model predates the norm and exudes great presence. An authentic Howard armchair, unlike some models available on the market.
