Very rare two-seater sofa by Poltronova, model 119 “Ricciolo”, designed by Guido Rosati, in 1975.
Featuring a bold, sculptural shape, the sofa features generously proportioned cylindrical armrests with gathered leather detailing, paired with a deep, inviting seat and a low, architectural profile. Covered in original black aniline leather, the design is emblematic of the radical and postmodern Italian furniture of the late twentieth century, where comfort, volume and expressive form converge. The Ricciolo model remains a sought-after example of Poltronova's innovative and experimental design language of that period.
Conditions: The sofa is in completely original condition, with signs of wear, consistent with age and use which attribute the authenticity and character of the piece and are in line with its vintage nature.
