Item description

Ancient chest of Venetian manufacture dating back to the first half of the 18th century. Made entirely of solid walnut, the case is very solid, sturdy and heavy. The fountain is characterised by classic corbel feet of Venetian manufacture of the period. The very elaborate moldings and the choice of a noble material such as walnut wood suggest a noble commission. As you can see from the photos, the furniture's polishing needs to be reviewed, the shelf feet have been replaced in an ancient restoration, and the lock is missing. The piece of furniture is a well-known piece that requires some restoration to return to its ancient glories. Measures: Height 61 cm Width 161 cm Depth 54 cm
