Pair of bentwood chairs with black lacquered beech frames and Vienna straw seats, Herbatschek series, produced at a former Thonet factory in Poland in the 1960s. The design follows the classic Thonet No. 18 cafe chair. Crafted from black lacquered bent beechwood with hand-woven Vienna straw seats, these chairs combine lightweight construction with the durability that has made bentwood furniture a timeless favorite. Their elegant curved silhouette makes them suitable for dining rooms, cafés, kitchens, or vintage-inspired interiors. The chairs remain in very good original condition. According to the previous owner, they were never used for seating and retain their original finish without restoration. Minor signs of age and storage-related wear may be present, consistent with their vintage character.
