Dominioni The Phonola 547 ( 1939-1941 ) is an icon of Italian industrial design, designed by architects Luigi Caccia Dominioni, Livio Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and produced by FIMI of Saronno. It revolutionized the aesthetics of radios in Europe, moving from heavy wooden cabinets to a compact and functional Bakelite design It was presented in September 1940 at the VII Triennale of Milan, where it achieved great success and won the gold medal The body is a die-cast monocoque, originally made of Bakelite or urea formaldehyde ( synthetic resin ) - Medium waves ( OM ) and short waves ( OC ) - Power supply : 120 - 140 - 160 - 220 V. - Dark Green Color Excellent original condition - Perfect working
