This pair of table lamps of refined Italian manufacture was created by the sculptor Edoardo Tasca. Each lamp features a finely crafted porcelain sculptural base depicting a meditating Buddha, embellished with cobalt blue shades and refined pure gold details. The figure rests on an elegant square base in shiny golden metal and black wood, topped by an adjustable-height metal stem that supports a shaped lampshade in light fabric with coordinated trimmings.
The work belongs to the limited edition collection "Scultura Viva" ("Living Sculpture") and can be traced back to the period between the end of the 1970s and the 1980s.
