Description: Pair of Candelabra/Flambeaux in gilded bronze belonging to the Napoleon III period of the second half of the nineteenth century. The structure develops on four overall flames including three curvilinear arms that branch off from the central stem and one in the centre. The stem rests on a tripod element decorated with festoons of leaves while the median section is supported by a sculptural group made up of three caryatids or nymphs leaning against each other. The profile of the base is mixtilinear with protruding corners enriched by spindle moldings and resting on small cushion feet. Conditions: Excellent condition. Provenance: 19th century France.
