Item description

Small 1950s sideboard designed by Umberto Mascagni, produced in Italy and distributed by Harrods in London in the same years. An iconic piece of modern art, characterized by three doors with back-painted glass fronts: the two lateral ones depict a woman going down the stairs, while the central one shows a glass of liqueur, in perfect décor style. The structure is made of solid wood, solid and heavy, finished in cream-colored vinyl with anodized aluminum edges. The interior is upholstered in elegant faux lizard skin and gray vinyl with geometric patterns. The piece of furniture is completed by a large full-width, removable mirror, which amplifies its scenographic nature and stage presence. The piece of furniture is in excellent vintage condition, and is ideal for refined environments, both classic and contemporary, thanks to its timeless aesthetics.
