Poplar wood chest dating back to the second half of the 19th century, made in neo-Renaissance style. The piece of furniture is characterized by finely carved frames with pods and leafy spirals. At the center of the front, a large carved reserve features elaborate leaf motifs flanked by two half rosettes. The pilasters are adorned with candelabras with caryatids, while the feet are feral-pawed, giving a majestic and robust appearance. This piece has been restored and lacquered in ivory tones in our workshops, maintaining conservative reversibility to preserve the historical integrity of the object.
