Splendid and exclusive modern square coffee table, model attributable to designer Willy Rizzo and produced in Italy by Mario Sabot in the early 1970s. This piece represents the maximum expression of the Space Age style and Italian "Glam" luxury of the time. The black lacquered geometric structure is equipped with a smooth and fully functional 360° internal swivel mechanism, and houses 4 large extractable drawers on all four sides. The upper shelf is entirely covered with an original period mirror. Under one of the drawers there is the original Mario Sabot manufacturing fire stamp which attests to its historical production. Conditions: Excellent vintage conditions consistent with age and use. The upper mirror is intact, without cracks or chips. The rotation mechanism is smooth and the drawers slide perfectly. Very slight signs of aging on the structure which testify to its authenticity.
