A late 19th-century neo-Baroque walnut display cabinet, made in Italy, featuring an imposing structure and finely carved details. The cabinet features blown glass doors and sides, with adjustable internal shelves thanks to practical racks. The base features two paneled doors, embellished with scrolls, rosettes, and a central mascaron, typical decorative elements of the period. The uprights are adorned with candelabras depicting male and female caryatids, floral elements, fruit, and mascarons. The equally richly carved cymatium features a central coat of arms supported by cherubs. The surface has been patinated to reflect the taste of the period. Note the lack of a carving on one of the uprights, a defect that does not detract from the overall elegance of the piece.
