Torpedo pendant lamp designed by Carlo Nason and manufactured by Mazzega Murano.
Born in Murano in 1935, Nason comes from one of the island's oldest glassmaking families.
Between 1965 and 1980, he collaborated with AV Mazzega of Murano, whose products, now discontinued, were sold at numerous international auctions.
He collaborated with all the most important Murano companies, including Vetreria Vistosi, Vetreria Carlo Moretti, and Vetreria Livio Seguso.
In the 1980s, he collaborated with Gruppo Firme Di Vetro of Salzano, the De Majo glassworks of Murano, and LEUCOS of Salzano.
His works are part of international museum collections and numerous private collections.
Made in the 1960s and 1970s in pure space-age style, it is an object of great iconic design from a very famous era.
