Baroque Piedmont walnut drop-leaf chest from the second half of the 18th century, featuring a refined interplay of maple inlays. The delicately curved front features two drawers with elegant scroll and leaf motifs, which are repeated on the rounded uprights, sides, and upper drop-leaf door. The latter is supported by two pull-out drawers, revealing an internal cabinet composed of an open compartment and six drawers. The four legs and carved, curved apron lend a further touch of elegance. The interior is crafted from poplar. The bronze handles and escutcheons add a precious detail to this period piece.
