This extendable table by Roberti Rattan represents a refined example of Italian design, combining the organic aesthetic of rattan with contemporary functionality. The frame is characterized by an interplay of vertical and curved lines that form light, sculptural legs, supporting a wood tabletop with a natural, warm grain. The opening mechanism is particularly ingenious: the top opens like a book and, thanks to a system of smooth slides, doubles the tabletop while maintaining perfect stability. Construction details, such as the recessed brass hinges and the original branding applied to the frame, testify to the high-quality craftsmanship of this piece. Despite some slight signs of age on the surface, the table retains its timeless charm, ideal for elegantly furnishing both indoor spaces and sheltered verandas.
