The lamp is a "Meta" model, produced by Stilnovo Italia and distributed in the 1970s by the Dutch company Artimeta. Although the piece pictured lacks the original labels, bibliographic research and period catalogs confirm its attribution thanks to the unique combination of its elements: the heavy cylindrical base in black lacquered steel, the curved stem in solid chromed iron, and the distinctive domed lampshade in opaline acrylic. It is a highly sought-after piece by collectors of Space Age design, known for being one of the flagship and most expensive models in distribution catalogs of the time. Its sculptural structure and the quality of the materials—typical of Stilnovo production in the 1970s—certify its historical authenticity despite the absence of the physical brand.
