Splendid armchair with footstool model Hal by Marc Sadler for the refined manufacture of Cassina in 1997. The structure of the Hal armchair is in steel with padding in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Marc Sadler's armchair is upholstered in soft, supple blue cotton-look fabric with inserts on the back and armrests in a beautiful orange colour that contrasts with the dominant blue colour, creating a striking aesthetic effect. The upholstery of the armchair features double stitching on the cover, highlighting Cassina's fine craftsmanship. Marc Sadler's Hal armchair has a characteristic feature, the backrest support element, which is conical in shape and made of metal, allowing for easy movement of the backrest. Furthermore, through the mechanisms it is possible to move the inclination of the backrest and armrests at the will of the guest. This gives Marc Sadler's iconic Hal armchair a comfortable rest for the guest, who can use the attached footrest to extend their legs for added comfort. The armchair is in excellent original vintage condition, it will be cleaned and sanitised prior to shipping. The set is out of production.
