Ceramic plate by SILVIA ZOTTA (1969-2014) Silvia Zotta, Member of the International Academy of Ceramics IAC (Geneva). Born in 1969 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 1987 to 1993 she attended: Escuela Nacional de Ceramica n°1,  Instituto superior nacional de ceramic artistic,  Academia de bellas artes "prilidiano pueyrredon" (sculpture). In 1993 he moved to Faenza, where he attended the "Gaetano Ballardini" Institute for Art Ceramics.
He participates in international symposiums, workshops and artist residencies, in 2005 he won (ex aequo) the prestigious FAENZA PRIZE at the "54th international art ceramic competition", his work is part of the permanent collection of the International Ceramics Museum in Faenza. His works are present in public and private collections in Italy and abroad and he has been published in international art, architecture, fashion and design catalogues, magazines and newspapers. Awards received: 2005: Faenza Prize offered by the Banca del Monte and Cassa di Risparmio Faenza Foundation (ex aequo with Tomoko Kawakami) at the 54th Faenza Prize, International Competition of Contemporary Art Ceramics, Faenza.
2001: Silver plaque from the President of the Senate of the Republic at the 52nd Faenza Award. International Competition of Contemporary Art Ceramics, International Ceramics Museum in Faenza.
Winner of the 1st Prize "VII National Competition Journey through Ceramics", Vietri sul Mare, Salerno.
1999: 2nd Prize at the Salon Anual Internacional-Centro Argentino de Arte Ceramico”, Buenos Aires (Argentina).
1997: Honorable mention at the International Ceramics Triennial, Zagreb (Croatia).
1995: Prize in the “Decoration for a dish” competition, Montelupo Fiorentino, Florence; 1st Prize in the “An object for home furnishings” competition, Ceramiche Emaldi, Faenza.
Member of the International Academy of Ceramics IAC (Geneva).
