Description: Pair of ancient Neapolitan candlestick in golden and carved wood belonging to the second half of the eighteenth century.
The central body in Balaustro is inspired by the forms of a classic vase or urn with richly adorned side loops.
The stem is grooved with decorative nodes with a typical baroque bulb and is enriched with numerous curved arms ending with multi -level lamps.
The three feet base has curved legs and Leonina paw.
The front part of the base has a star with a decorative symbol that could have symbolic or heraldic or simply ornamental meaning.
Conditions: good condition.
Origin: Naples early 18th century.
