Item description

Description: Game table in olive wood with exotic bone and mother-of-pearl wood inlays decorated with geometric patterns. The top rotates and unfolds into a game table that reveals a green felt carpet. Below there is ample space for storing games, cards and markers. The removable top reveals a game of tric trac, backgammon and chess table with a chessboard. The olive wood is rich in bone and wood inlays in shades of caramel and amber. The edge of the table features a pair of sliding compartments with a cup holder recessed into the opposite corners. The table rests on curved legs joined in the center by a shelf with spacer. Provenance: Syria 19th century. Conditions: Excellent condition Measurements: 85x42 H82cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
