50x70 oil on canvas painting from 1977 by the Tuscan painter Gerolamo Bolli (pseudonym of Pierluigi Buscemi). Moving from expressionistic and Picassian influences, like his master Renato Guttuso, he arrived at an intense realism. Self-taught, he had professional friendships and artistic influences of notable importance, from Renato Guttuso to Renato Natali from Livorno, to the great Pisan master Salvatore Pizzarello (already a pupil and friend of Oskar Kokoshca) up to Mino Maccari.
