Description: Ancient oil painting on canvas depicting the bust of a cardinal belonging to the second half of the 18th century. The figure depicts a holy bishop identifiable by his iconographic attributes. The subject is represented half-length with a solemn pose but composed according to a traditional devotional typology. The figure emerges clearly from the background thanks to the chiaroscuro contrast, the drawing is precise and softened by shaded contours. General Conditions: Good condition. Provenance: Lombardy 18th century. Measurements: 92xH103cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
