Item description

Bust of the Venus of Capua, created in the late 19th century by Gennaro Chiurazzi, signed \"J. Chiurazzi Naples\" on the back. This white Carrara marble work depicts the bust of the complete statue of the Aphrodite of Capua, a Roman statue now housed in the Archaeological Museum of Naples. The bust retains an export authorization label from Chile dated 1981.
