Pair of Giorgetti armchairs, Italian production from the early 1950s.
Solid wood frame with visible front legs, elegantly shaped and connected to the armrests, a typical feature of Giorgetti manufacturing from that period.
The proportions are compact but very balanced, with a wide seat, enveloping backrest, and slightly flared line that lightens the overall volume.
The armchairs have been recently reupholstered in rust/terracotta bouclé fabric, a choice consistent with the mid-century character and capable of enhancing the original design without distorting it. Upholstery in excellent condition, solid structure, and well-preserved wood.
