Lot of 7 neo-Renaissance style chairs dating back to the 1940s.
The chairs are made of solid walnut wood, they are very heavy and sturdy.
They are characterized by the backrest and the front under the seat which are both shaped.
The construction quality is very high, as is the quality of the wood used, everything suggests a noble client who spared no expense, today making chairs like these would cost more than 200 euros per chair.
The chairs come to us in a conservative condition, they have never been restored, they show some small signs of wear completely compatible with their age.
They are sold with their custom-made and contemporary cushions, upholstered in brocade and hand-sewn.
The cushions, consistent with their wear, need to be repaired, many of them have had the ropes used to tie them to the chairs unstitched and have some stitches that need repairing but, considering that they are almost 100 years old, they are in very good condition.
