Item description

A set of five black lacquered walnut chairs with gray velvet seats, attributed to Vittorio Dassi, one of the most important names in 20th-century Italian cabinetmaking. His company, Dassi Mobili Moderni, collaborated closely with Gio Ponti in the 1940s and 1950s, which explains the refined, architectural style. This model fits perfectly into the transition between the more solid Art Deco style and the organic modernism of the 1950s.
