Rare small Genoese chest of drawers with two drawers, Louis XVI style and period, late 18th century. Veneered in mahogany, it has the profiles of the drawers and sides in ebony, while the linings and interiors are in larch. The top, rounded at the corners, is in Bardiglio gray marble and is surrounded by the classic "nails" of the Louis XVI style.
The structure has grooved uprights and tapered (tapered) legs with no narrowing at the top. The handles, rosettes and escutcheons are in bronze, and are all original. The two original locks with the "cloverleaf" entrance are also present. The key is missing. The state of conservation, given the age, is excellent. The structure is healthy, without cracks or defects and the paintwork is in patina.
