The work was the subject of a profound artistic recovery intervention by Officina del Recupero by Alessandra Angoli: the structure was finished in an ultra-matt deep black (ultra-matt finish) which enhances the brightness of the original burls and inlays by contrast.
The intervention combines classic aesthetics with contemporary functionality: a professional cable hole has been applied inside the flap, making the piece of furniture perfect for hosting hi-tech devices, laptop workstations or retractable audio systems without giving up the elegance of the period design.
