Item description

Description: Antique French Louis XV chest of drawers in precious exotic woods with marble top and gilded bronze fittings. The piece of furniture is characterized by a drawer structure with a wavy front and slender legs ending with gilded bronze socks. The sides follow the same curvature as the front creating visual continuity. The lower band has a mixed-line profile shaped like a cantilever which ends in the center with an inlaid decorative curl. The piece of furniture is crowned by a marble top shaped along the perimeter to follow the rounded profile of the case below. General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: 18th century France. Measurements: 118X60 H90cm.
