Vintage center table in the style of Romeo Rega... a modern work of art, with two amber glass shelves. The sophisticated shape of the gold-plated steel supporting structure is typical of Romeo Rega's work, with its minimalist lightness that lets light filter through. The table can be disassembled for easy transport. Romeo Rega was a very popular Roman-Italian designer of the mid-20th century, known for the use of geometric shapes and clean lines in his designs, characterized by extensive use of glass or Perspex and the combination of metals, chrome and brass, often mixed together. His notoriety began at the end of the 1950s when he created the floats for the American blockbuster Ben-Hur for Cinecittà. He designed and produced numerous products, including lighting projects, with a style similar to that of Willy Rizzo and Gabriella Crespi.
