Description: Antique Louis XIV kneeler in solid walnut and walnut root belonging to the early 18th century.
The piece of furniture follows a rigorous classical architectural proportion divided vertically into three orders, i.e. upper riser with under-counter band and integrated drawer.
The central body is characterized by a triptych arrangement with a rectangular door in the center mounted on hinge hinges and embellished with a bronze lock escutcheon.
The lower base is protruding and lowered, specifically designed for kneeling, while the pradella surface can be opened via hinges, revealing an internal well-shaped container compartment resting on the base plinth.
