Spectacular coffee table with "Dry Bar" function, Harry's model, designed by the architect Massimo Papiri for the famous Mario Sabot factory in the 1970s. A pillar of the Italian Brutalist and Hollywood Regency style. The piece boasts an exceptional and exclusive provenance: it belonged to a single family owner, jealously guarded in the large hall of a private villa. The structure is entirely covered in polished and satin stainless steel. This example represents an extraordinary rarity for two reasons: It retains intact all the original internal elements and components of the time (including the black shaped tray and the transparent plexiglass divider), a crucial detail since these mobile accessories tend to be lost over the decades. The technical system is in perfect operating conditions: both the scenographic internal light and the refrigeration system (freezer) for ice and drinks are fully operational and functional. The object is in excellent vintage condition, with the typical and fascinating patina of the metal which enhances its authenticity. Sculptural lines of great visual impact.
