A Baroque walnut chest of drawers dating back to the early 18th century, featuring a front with four bipartite drawers. The first drawer, which folds open, reveals an elegant internal cabinet composed of four drawers and a central open compartment. The front of the top, also foldable, lifts to access the first drawer. The uprights are beveled at forty-five degrees and are supported by plinth feet, lending stability and a touch of refinement. Fitted with wrought iron handles, the interior is made of fir. Originally, the first drawer did not have a fold-down front or internal cabinet, a sign of a later customization that enriches the functionality and aesthetics of the piece.
