An elegant 1940s Italian Art Deco bar cabinet, crafted from walnut with refined walnut burl fronts and designed in the style of Gio Ponti. The compact structure is characterized by softly rounded corners, contrasting dark wood profiles, and two drop-down front doors embellished with brass inserts and details.
When opened, the cabinet reveals two distinct compartments. One features a striking interior with original period mosaic mirrors, enhanced by brass details and a drop-down top that can be used as a serving surface; the second offers additional storage space with a wooden interior.
The cabinet has been professionally restored and buffered with shellac using a traditional technique. The mosaic mirrors have been preserved in their original period configuration.
