Quality William IV metamorphic mahogany side table/three-tier dumbwaiter c.1835. An unusual and ingenious side or wine table that converts into a three-tier dumbwaiter. Circular solid mahogany tops with moulded edge detailing on the middle and bottom tops that nest together when lowered. The shelves are supported by a central laminated timber column terminating in a turned and carved tulip base. The central column houses the cable mechanism for raising and lowering the levels. Raised on a tri-form base with castellated feet and concealed brass casters. Request a video of how it converts from side table to dumbwaiter and vice versa.
