Livorno-born painter Renato Natali, a member of the Labronico group founded in 1920, painted primarily views and scenes of his city and its suburbs. However, he drew on his stay in Paris and his encounter with the Parisian art world for the atmosphere and subsequent color choices, particularly in creating his "Parisian palette" in Paris, which he himself described as consisting of just twelve colors.
The work is presented in a frame.
