Scandinavian-style beech coffee table by Miloš Sedláček and Karel Vyčítal for Dřevotvar Jablonné nad Orlicí (formerly Czechoslovakia), 1960s. Sedláček and Vyčítal were leading postwar Czechoslovak architects and worked for the Czechoslovak firm Dřevotvar Jablonné nad Orlicí. Their work was obviously inspired by postwar Scandinavian design, from which they not only drew inspiration but also tried to modify in various ways. This coffee table is made of high-quality beech wood. It shows signs of age and use.
