Description: Antique French Napoleon III desk in fine exotic wood with finely chiseled gilded bronze application. The top has an original chiselled leather covering of the time surrounded by a gilt bronze border. The front is punctuated by three drawers embellished with gilded bronze leaf motif handles and vents. The four corners are decorated with large half-length figures of women typical of the period they belong to. The sides are surrounded like the front with bronze profiles with a leaf motif with a large mask in the centre. The opposite face appears to be a mirror image of the main one. The interiors appear to be in oak wood. Conditions: Excellent condition. Provenance: 19th century France. Measurements: 180x90 H80cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
