Huge earth-sky bookcase dating back to the 1960s.
Made in the middle of the space age era, this bookcase stands out for its size and construction quality.
Made up of 5 modules (4 modules which can also be mounted separately) and 40 shelves.
The uprights are made of black painted iron, the shelves are made of plywood veneered in mahogany pima.
The rivets that support the shelves are made of brass.
These bookcases are supported by adjustable feet and tips, their fixing system gives them their name, in fact they are fixed to the ground and ceiling by adjusting the tightening of the feet and tips.
The bookcase on sale can be mounted with floor heights from 290 to 305 cm
in addition to the ground-to-sky fixing, 4 brackets are provided for fixing to the wall, making the bookcase more stable.
Once assembled, the piece of furniture can withstand very high loads.
The bookcase, as can be seen from the photos, is in excellent condition, there are, as normal, some small marks on the shelves consistent with age and wear.
