Carpet made of wool in the 1960s, with tufted workmanship which gives a soft and slightly raised surface.
It has neutral and warm shades, such as beige and sage green, with brighter inserts in pink, purple, orange and bright green.
The stylized design recalls natural shapes, similar to branches or leaves. Colorful geometric elements are distributed around these figures, almost like a mosaic, which creates a lively contrast with the modernist and experimental taste of the 1960s, when freer and less traditional motifs appeared in Nepalese carpets compared to classic Persian or oriental designs.
Dimensions 190 cm. x 136 cm.
