This pair of Mid-Century Modern wall sconces was designed by Albano Poli and produced by Poliarte in Italy in the 1970s. The wall lights feature a sculptural composition of Murano glass elements arranged in a radial shape around a central light source, fixed to a square metal base. The different shades and textures of the glass create visual depth and a suggestive play of reflections when the lamps are turned on. This approach, typical of Poliarte production under the creative direction of Albano Poli, combines material experimentation and formal rigor. Sold as a pair, these wall lights represent a significant example of Italian lighting from the Seventies and can be used both as functional elements and as real decorative works on the wall.
