Beautiful and elegant Piedmontese console veneered in walnut with top in classic Piedmontese bardiglio gray marble and inlays in maple and bronze, threaded and with an unusual shape that makes it very rare.
This very particular console is in fact moved on the sides, but with a "wave" that narrows inwards instead of widening as usual: with a facade width of 123cm. there is a rear width of only 110cm. The band underneath the marble is flared inwards, classic from the early 19th century, and has a retractable drawer with two bronze knobs and a beautiful maple floral inlay in the central part; the whole rests on an edge with a double fillet that connects it to the underlying part. The "back" in "open stain" walnut is surrounded by two uprights with double inlaid fillets. In the front part, two beautiful walnut pilasters with fillets and four inlaid rosettes connect it to the lower floor. The latter, 8cm high, is entirely veneered in walnut and threaded and has a very particular maple and bronze inlay in the central part with a rosette surrounded by two laurel branches. The console rests on four feet and an inverted truncated cone made of walnut with very elegant flexes. The state of conservation is excellent, it is healthy and has undergone very few interventions over the years. The numerous photos are authentic.
