Set of three chairs made by the historic Matteo Grassi manufacturer, consisting of a swivel executive chair with armrests and a pair of sled-based chairs. The seats are upholstered in cognac-colored leather, while the frames are made of chromed steel. The executive chair rests on an aluminum swivel base with casters. It features two thin armrests, also upholstered in leather, and a backrest with ergonomic support. The height of the seat, adjustable, has a tilting effect that can be adjusted by turning the wheel underneath. They most likely date to the 1980s or 1990s. The two visitor chairs, also with armrests, are the MG5 model, otherwise known as the Centro Studi, from the 1980s. The frame is tubular chromed steel, with a stretched leather seat and backrest. The executive chair is in good condition with normal signs of use. The leather on the armrests is somewhat worn, but not detracting (see photo). The rest of the leather and the chrome parts show only minor signs of wear. The two sled chairs have a chrome frame in excellent condition and leather upholstery with normal signs of age and use. One of the chairs is missing one of the arched crosspieces under the seat, a defect that does not compromise its usability. Overall, a good, high-quality Matteo Grassi set, used over the years but still fully enjoyable.
