On the back there is a cartouche from the San Carlo Gallery in Milan, with the title of the work.
Also present is a dedication from the author (\"To Michele\", February 1984).
The work belongs to Franco Rognoni's last period, in which having recovered from the existential crisis that had distracted him from easel pictorial art, he resumed painting with forms inspired by a fantastic vision of life, supported by vivid colour.
Recurring visions of imagined countries, characterized by elements rendered with a few linear strokes, then filled with colour.
Work in frame.
