A splendid mirror with applique from the Art Nouveau period, of wonderful French manufacture, from a very chic Parisian restaurant. The mirror has a rectangular shape with rounded corners, made entirely of brass in the original patina. The top is surmounted by a hemispherical dome-shaped frame that lends majesty to the sconce. The centrepiece of the mirror is clearly the central wall sconce at the bottom. The base of the plant is connected via a solid brass element to the frame at the bottom; the base of the plant rises in three dimensions, as if it had come to life in the mirror. Five stems with leaves can be seen, each displaying a flower with a light in the centre. Simply chic. The mirror is suitable for luxurious hallways, but also for restaurants with a Parisian theme. Wear consistent with age and use. The mirror is in good original period condition, with minor scratches. Brass in original patina.
